Hello and happy December 9th! Yes, it's been a few weeks since I've contributed to the Romance Weekly Blog chat. November was a very hectic month, but I'm so glad to be back.

If you're joining me from the fabulous author, Elizabeth Janette  http://elizabeth-janette.blogspot.com, then welcome. If you've found me directly via the web, then please make sure to check out Elizabeth's blogsite.

Today, Xio Axelroad has asked that we all share our favorite holiday song. This was an easy one for me. It's always been "Carol of the Bells". Especially the version played by the Trans Siberian Orchestra, especially when it's tied to a lightshow, which is absolutely amazing.

You're familiar with Handbells, I'm sure. I actually used to play Handbells with my old church - loved the sound, especially at the holidays.

If you haven't seen a Handbell choir, there is a wonderful YouTube video at the following link that features a Handbell choir playing "Carol of the Bells". They do a beautiful job.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i-VlUiGxEQ  This is the link to that video, but if you do a web search you will find other wonderful Handbell choirs performing this song.

What is your favorite holiday song? If you don't have one in mind, give "Carol of the Bells", a try. Especially as done by a Handbell Choir.

Now, please hop on over to Jeanne McDonald at https://authorjeannemcdonald.wordpress.com/.  I'm sure that Jeanne has a wonderful Christmas song, she wants to share with you.

Thank you for stopping by.

Warmly,
Mikki Cober

  1. Love it. It reminds me of the handbell choir we had at my childhood church. Here's another really great version of this song. http://youtu.be/WSUFzC6_fp8?list=RDWSUFzC6_fp8
